This is my wikipedia style autobiography.
Jason PushLife ([push-life]; born February 16, 1983) is a Jamaican American photographer, cinematographer, and media PUSHer. He’s commonly known as Mr. PUSH, and when he was a deejay, he performed as DJ Two16.
He is currently working on a new channel, soon to be on Youtube, which he is creating and directing.
PUSH was born in New York, NY, and was raised in Miami, FL. His mother, “Gem”, is an accountant, and his father, “Howie”, is an entrepreneur as well. His parents moved from Stamford, CT to Miami when he was 3.5yrs old. PUSH was always a hands on type of person, always creating things in his garage. Growing up, he was always interested in his fathers camera equipment and computer. He quickly became really good at teaching himself all the ins and outs of anything techie he came in contact with. PUSH bought his first camera and the rest was history!
2001 – Only the beginning
PUSH started a website called Street Perfection, an automotive photography blog. When Street Perfection was started, the goal was to show the world the best cars and motorcycles Miami had to offer. Jason would attend all the local car shows and conventions, taking photos and making contacts. He made it a point to ALWAYS post the his coverage as fast as possible, the next day mostly. What was turning out to be a very promising site, Street Perfection slowly made the transition to club photography once the automotive scene faded in to the background. He started shooting parties for his friend, Jesus aka ENVYRABID.com, when he couldn’t couldn’t make it. When ENVYRABID.com closed down, PUSH continued covering clubs using Street Perfection.
